The Company:

Collaborative start-up specialising in providing DevOps optimisation solutions for several renowned UK based companies, looking for an experienced Golang developer to work on a truly greenfield application, enhancing and accelerating container deployment and simplifying Kubernetes with multi cloud management.

Partnered with Google, Amazon and Microsoft this business have had huge success over the last few years and cultivated a culture built on collaboration and autonomy.

The Role:

This role will have you working with a collaborative team comprising of Golang developers and DevOps specialists on a greenfield application.

You will be:

• Designing and developing greenfield software products
• Take a lead on ideas from inception to completion
• Utilise research to understand the wider industry and how problems are currently being solved by open-source solutions
• Work closely with engineers and architects to understand and implement technical ideas
• Extend Kubernetes with operators and controllers
• Provide technical architectures
• Strong conceptual thinker; working closely with designers and managers on under workflows
• Strong understanding of test strategies, TDD, BDD

Requirements:

• Experience developing complex backend solutions in Golang
• Strong Experience with Kubernetes
• Good understanding of Agile and Product methodologies
• Understanding of how to deliver scalable and distributed software

Bonus Points:

• Ability to design and maintain backward compatible API’s
• Experience with controller/ operator development in Kubernetes
